I've been obsessed with fairs, carnivals, and ferris wheels in particular ever since I spent summers selling my jewelry at different fairs every weekend during university. Often Suzie and I (my design partner) would end the day off with a ride on the ferris wheel ride - and maybe some cotton candy!My amazing boyfriend Dan took me to the fair at the end of the summer. We took a ride on the biggest ferris wheel - when we got to the top, we looked out on the whole city below and before i knew what was happening, Dan was on his knee - he proposed! He had secretly arranged for the ride operators to stop the ride when we got to the top. I squealed with joy so loud I wonder if the other people on the ride wondered if I was ok! Needless to say, it was the absolute perfect proposal!
